FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOUR FOOD || A NECESSITY FOR CLEAN EATING

We here at project: CLEAN FOOD are all about eating good, healthy and CLEAN food. However, make sure that when you are eating that lovely meal, that there is some sort of love exchange between you and that food. It is very essential for your health and the ultimate success of your overall diet plan!

We tend to learn a bit about healthy eating from all sorts of resources: from books, from articles, from videos, and from various media sources. And as we start to incorporate these new eating techniques, be sure to continue to be open and receptive as to what is and what is not working for you and your body. It is very possible that you may have tried drinking a green juice. And it is very possible that you may have enjoyed it; it is also possible that you may have found the sheer taste of it utterly repulsive. Regardless of how the juice makes the taste buds feel, take notice as to how the entire body feels after consumption. If it feels good in your body, its probably good for you. If it makes the body feel lethargic and weak, never have it again. And this should be your approach with each and everything you put inside of that beautiful human system of yours. After all, it is a temple that is worthy of your praise at each and every moment of existence.

So take your time and structure your meal plan. We have our very our clean eating meal plan (the CLEAN FOOD diet plan). But we also understand that this and many other diets may not be suitable for everyone. So we are encouraging you to use this diet plan as well as the many others you hear about and check them out. Now don't look at this as diet shopping; it is more like intuitive eating in order to find the best and most perfect diet regimen suitable for you. For example, eating lots of cashews may be great for one person, but it may make another person very constipated and slow down their bowel movements greatly. So you have to see what is delicious and healthy for you!

The more you have questions about your diet, the more you need to get clear about what you eat and why you eat it. Sometimes we take on eating regimens because others around us or in our immediate environment is eating in this manner. But in actuality, we may not feel 100% convinced in the power of that particular diet. So, on that note, continue to be child-like and investigate all options.

At the end of the day, you want to be madly in love with your diet, so much that you don't even think about expressing that love: the manifestation of love for your diet just takes shape in a natural and unique way. If you find yourself trying to impress upon others how great your diet is, you are still not quite in-love with your diet yet: and that's ok. When you really and truly love something, there is no need to sell it to anyone else. Its just like any beautiful relationship, it takes time to cultivate and understand why you have chosen that particular mate and what sort of affect that relationship has your mind and body: and without any sort of question or doubt. Your food is your mate. You are consuming it and it is consuming you. The food and you are becoming one with each other. So make sure you see yourself in all that you eat and consume.

Now go and investigate! Enjoy your life! Enjoy your diet! Have loads of Fun!

Fall in Love again (with your diet)!

And most importantly, eat CLEAN FOOD...

project: CLEAN FOOD's PrOjecT foR tHe WeeKeNd || NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS

It is so simple and easy to do! From Lunchtime today, until your last meal on sunday evening, see if you are willing and able to put aside all animal products; and keep them out of your foods and drinks. I know, it sounds like a lot. Yet, we are not here to say that this is a better way of eating and living, but it is a significantly unique perspective on eating. And we tend to feel that a diet that is significantly higher in plant-based products from the Earth like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, and chocolate (yes chocolate) is the diet that will easily set you up for attaining radiant health. Think of this diet as kind of like a shortcut.

So eliminating animal products would include the following:

~All dairy (milks, yogurts, cheeses, etc)
~All animal meat
~All seafood (fish, shrimp, lobster, etc)
~All styled eggs (Egg whites, etc)

That about covers it!

Try it out and see for yourself. See how you feel energetically. See how your body feels as you move through the days. See what your thought process is like. It is important to be receptive and open to such things. As humans, there are many possibilities and tendencies as to how we should or should not live. And this happens to be just another option. No particular diet is ever set in stone. However, not every diet plan is suitable for every body metabolism; and that is also based on a slew of factors that can include environment, living situation, current health, stress levels, and the list goes on.

So check this one out this weekend! Its pretty much how we eat around here. For more information on this sort of diet, check this out: the CLEAN FOOD diet plan.

And if you are interested in various recipe options, we got ya covered there too: 350 Best Vegan Recipes

And as always, we'd love to hear your feedback!

Lots of Luck!

project: CLEAN FOOD's HeaTHy LeSSon oF tHe dAy || TASTE IS IN THE APPETITE

When making changes and shifts in the diet or in the habits of eating, it is best to follow your intuition and intelligence about things. Those two will always lead you right to all that it is you wish to know and understand about your new regimens and routines. And with that in mind, know that it is natural to not necessarily agree with the diet choices or diet regimens of others. They may like raspberries and figs, but you may like pears and banana bread. They may like green juices, but you may like smoothies. They may adhere to a diet of all fruits and vegetables, but you may adhere to a diet of fruits and vegetables, occassionally. And the variety of comparions can continue to go on like this.

The important thing is this: find out what works best for you. What works best for you, may not work well for anyone else on the entire planet. And, that's quite alright. We are beautiful and blissfully unique beings in this world. And we all have a way of naturally expressing ourselves in this rapidly unfolding universe. So let your new diet or eating regimen come to you naturally: just watch it arrive! You may learn from others. You may even take on some of their routines and habits to learn how it feels in your body, and within your world. But continually craft out what is best suited for you and your happiness!

The rules of eating are the ones that you set for yourself. So see what feels good, and what doesn't. Take a special note to what makes you feel energetic, what doesn't. And especially take notice to what makes you feel sickly and tired, and what doesn't. Eating CLEAN FOOD is simple! And that's the idea: make life more simple.

Eat what you like and enjoy it to the fullest! And remember: taste is in the appetite.

CLEAN FOODIE TIP # 3 | KEEP A JOURNAL THROUGHOUT YOUR DIET TRANSITION

Just a little bit of writing never hurt anyone. Not much writing needs to be done either. But, do just enough so that you are able to keep track of what you are eating and whether or not it is agreeing with you, your body and your lifestyle. You don't have to keep measurements of food portions, if you don't want to. You don't even have to try to balance it out in any logical or mathematic way. Just keep it simple and easy!

FOR EXAMPLE*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
11 January 2011
Breakfast - Fruits, some nuts and a bagel and cream cheese
Snack - a smoothie and a banana
Snack - Bag of Potato Chips
Snack - Slice of Banana Bread and Coffee
Lunch - Burrito and an iced tea
Dinner - Mixed Green Salad, pasta, etc
I felt great today with everything I ate. Felt a bit bloated and not able to make any trips to the bathroom. I wonder if it's the chips or the nuts or maybe even the bagel? Or maybe it's because I don't normally eat so much fruit? Anyway, I loved everything and enjoyed it to the fullest! We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning! Overall, I had a great day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

By keeping track of what you are eating over the course of, at least week, you are able to see what is easily digestible and what gives you energy, and what doesn't. Take special notice to any changes in your mood: do feel uplifted or depressed? Do you feel the need to spend time by yourself or with lots of friends? These are all things that tend to shift a bit while making some diet changes and transitions. If you forget to write something down, no worries. This is just a little technique to help you monitor all that is going into your body and the affect it has on your beautiful and amazing system!

Buy a brand new journal this week just for this little project, and have fun with it!

CLEAN FOODIE TIP # 2 | EAT SOME FRESH ORGANIC FRUITS EVERYDAY

Just a bit of fresh (and preferably organic) fruits everyday can work wonders on your amazingly powerful human system. You may have a bit around breakfast time with your normal meal or you may have a larger portion of fruit only for your breakfast. Or if you wish, you may also have a mixture of fruit as a full meal at any other point throughout the day.

When your body starts to become accustomed to having a daily dose of fresh fruits everyday, you naturally start craving the right foods that are neccessary to balance your entire system out on a continual basis. Also, by uping the intake of fresh organic fruits in the diet, your body not only becomes much more stronger and immune to sicknesses and ailments, but your body also becomes more self-sufficient. No longer will you need or require to take any sort of vitamin supplements of the sort in order to balance anything in your body. The fruits provide all the essential vitamins, nutrients and minerals that your body requires for its adequate maintenance.

What an awesome and amazing system we have here, right? It's so beautiful!

So get out there and trust your intuition as you head over to your local market to pick up some fresh fruits this week. Try making your own fresh fruit salads. Preparing your own meals are so much more fun. However, if you are on the go and you feel the need to purchase a pre-made fruit salad, make sure you buy it at a place where the produce is always freshly prepared daily!

Let's get started!

project: CLEAN FOOD's HeaTHy LeSSon oF tHe DaY || ALL YOU NEED IS WATER

In modern society, we have so much access to all sorts of beverages: bottled coconut water, blended juices, smoothies, sodas, boxed and canned juices, alcohol, energy drinks, coffee, teas and the list goes on and on. But when you really break it down, all we need is water! Water is the base and foundation of pretty much every beverage. While some of these beverages are good for giving the vitamins and nutrients and others are good for just the sheer pleasure of it, we can live simply and easily on water alone!

Water is the most essential and vital drink of all living beings. It can be found everywhere in the world and in everything. Our human systems are made of mostly water. The Earth is made up of mostly water. So at the end of the day, you don't technically need or require any other beverage besides water. Other beverages can be used as tools of healing and pleasure, but beyond that, the human body does not require them to exist or survive.

Every element, vitamin, mineral and nutrient contained here on Earth can be found in small trace amounts in water: which essentially means that everything nutritious that the body requires is in a glass of water, but in balanced proportion. Just some things to think about as we enter into the new year. And also, it is for us to consider as we think about reducing our wants in order to fall more in line with consuming more natural things.

CLEAN water is always a superfood! Your human system functions just perfectly on that alone. And bathing your system in that alone, there is no doubt that you will experience and maintain radiant levels of health.

The Lesson has been delivered.
