I find that berries are some of the best fruits available to mankind. They are so small, and so easy to nibble on at any time of the day.  But, did you know that they are the most nutritious and most performance enhancing fruits available?

I eat at least one container of berries everyday (usually raspberries). Most days, I wake up between 5 and 7 in the morning. I do all my daily duties, I workout twice a day, eat about 4 to 5 times a day: and when night comes around, I'm still bubbling with tons of energy! On most nights, my sleeping patterns are pretty sound.  And, all this has occurred pretty much since I have made the decision to incorporate more and more berries into my diet. 

I was doing all the other stuff before (exercising, full day of work, etc), but I always found myself a tad bit drained at the end of the day. But berries have been such a force in my life; it gives me so much vitality and power these days.  They are filled with vitamin C, B, Fiber, Folate, Protein (yes protein), Omega 3's, and tons of anti-oxidants and minerals: all of which are essential for improving digestion, immune system power, and maintaining strong energy patterns throughout the day!

Now, realistically, you don't have to eat one container of berries per day (that's just me and my crazy body metabolism). But it could be really great for your body if you ate berries at least twice a week! I usually eat them for breakfast or lunch. And, believe it or not, every now and again I will have them for dinner: especially when I don't feel like having anything too heavy to eat at night. 

These little guys can truly enhance your performance throughout the day. They can help keep you focused and powerful: and imagine having that feeling all day! Berries give you the power to be stronger, and to be a better you. However, it is indeed up to you to do the work to make that better you. Basically, berries will help you, but they won't do the work for you. Make sense? We have to (1) want to be stronger and (2) make the effort to be better and stronger. And honestly, I find that eatings loads of berries help me to just, straight up "get'er done", each and everyday!

Try eating more berries this week: blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, gooseberries, goji berries, there's so many to choose from! And yes, you can energize and change your body today!
